I enjoy the outdoors and photographing wildlife. I especially enjoy the poses that the Elk county elk can give out. These animals are so majestic and acclimated to humans I dont know how any one could really call the hunt there a hunt.
this bull kept watching me for quite a while. I just stood there by the truck when he decided to come down and take a look see. He got within only about 3 feet of me which isnt rare for me and took a bite of grass. As he done away with his bite he turned slightly towards me, I reached out and rubbed him under his chin he the gave me a bugle as if to say thank you friend. How any one could kill a bull elk like this boggles my mind. He then turned and went on his way I really thought I was in for it for a while but I have been so close to all these elk I come into contact with its amazing. No I am not a fan of elk hunting in Pa. I feel its only a money grab. These guys fear no one as I see it.
